Red lumps and bumps, help!

I've been type 1 diabetic for almost 11 years now and not once have I come across any sort of painful red lumps after I inject. It's only started the last couple months and I'm baffled by it. I'm on levemir and novorapid if that makes a difference. I was told I was hitting capillaries but haven't changed to any new sites. (I do rotate my sites)
Can someone please help?

Hi @Muggins96
welcome to the forum :)
first stop should be your DSN ( Diabetic specialist nurse)

you won't be hitting capillaries with every injection so it sounds a bit of an allergic reaction
are you using all sites available -- upper arms , stomach , upper thighs , backside .

are your BG's affected -- High's or lows ? )

is the issue happening every injection or just some ??

Is it just after either your levemir or novorapid or both? I used to get these after levemir injections, I had it as soon as I switched from lantus though...

It's after almost every injection no matter where I do it

have you spoken with your nurse.
perhaps you are getting an allergic skin reaction and a change of insulin might help
