Reduced access to blood test strips.

I am currently feeling frustrated as my doctors surgery has reduced my blood test strips by half which only allows for 4 tests per day.
I am 52 years old and have been a diabetic since I was 13 years old. I look after myself and keep good control and did the Daphne course which means I need to test before I eat to know how much insulin to take. I also do a lot of exercise and need to test before, during and after and all of this does not allow me to managed my diabetes on just 4 strips a day. I am not allowed a cgm as my control is considered too good to allow for one. What do I do?

Complain loudly. Do you have a consultant? Get in touch with them. When my GP surgery started playing around with my prescription the Consultant got it sorted quickly.
