So this afternoon I have to go for a meeting with the diabetic team at the royal Alexandra children hospital dose anyone else go to that hospital and they have said I Have to go on a 6 month trial with novo rapid inulin then I can have the pump if I get on with the pump they have said I have to keep my hba1c under 8.5% I was 7.7
% and blood glucoses control is a lot lot better since last visit to my Endo team so I can keep this under control hopefully

Strange you have to go on a trial for 6 months..........

have you not been approved to go on it forever....?

I think what sonny is saying is that he can't have a pump now he has to try NR for 6 months then they will reconsider the pump or move the goal posts again.

@Sonnyb2 You will not be able to keep the pump unless you use it properly and keep your A1c down and minimal hypos.

No for some reason I'm getting the omnipod on 12th then they are reviewing it in 6 months

Oh right, it just seems strange or at least different to how it was done for me..........

the decision as to whether a pump was good for my control was decided before hand.........

as opposed to just try before you buy.....lol......
