Hi just putting this here on the off chance someone can help or point us in the right direction.
I'm sorry if its not in the right place.

Right...I'm posting this on behalf of my sister in law

She has 2 boys, black and white moggies who are brothers...Jake and Woody...both 5 (6 later on this year) both neutered, vaccinated, deflead & worming up to date...house trained...

Now the reason for posting this on here:
Jake is in perfect health..Woody however has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and needs 2 insulin injections everyday (6am and 6pm)

The reason these two are up for adoption is because my sister in law is having problems with her flat and has to move out and she is starting to worry that she wont be able to afford the insulin for much longer...shes had no hot water for nearly 2 months and simply cannot afford to get that fixed and so has to move in with her boyfriend who lives in a flat above shops but unfortunately is located on a very busy main road...

She is gutted to have to give up her boys, they are the most loving cats i have ever met and she loves them very much...

Although jake and woody are brothers and it would be nice for them to be rehomed together, but this is not set in stone because they are not dependant on each other.

My sister in law is willing to travel almost anywhere to find these boys the home they deserve...
Any help at all would be appreciated...i will upload some pictures of the boys

I have sent an e-mail to a local CPL (Cat's Protection League) lady I know asking if she can advise anything for the two 'moggies.'

Will post once I get an answer.

Just had reply as follows:

Hi Ken

What a terrible shame.

I feel so sorry; awful situation.

Ist thing to do is get in touch with her local cats protection league re; re-homing. They are very sympathetic & usually will know the best way to re-home to the right family (but this may take some time) The cats are quite young so they have this on their side.

We had a diabetic cat and the injections aren't such a big deal however the new owner will require training from the local vet.

The insulin isn't terribly expensive either but I know that any extra expense is too much when money is tight so the CPL will be transparent about this when re-homing. They may also offer to pay for this for life if they find the right owner who doesn't have a lot of money.

Hope this helps......

I will pm you her e-mail address and name etc.

That's Ok, pleasure. I am not sure she is still online but I will see her tomorrow anyway and see what the position is. Let us know how you get on.

If you can resize the pics to 480 x 640 that should be Ok.

The daft thing is I am not a Cat lover.........dog's are my thing. Ah well, I shall go to 'moggie heaven' for my sins !

Regards
Ken.

I love dogs too - all animals actually
