I was diagnosed with diabetes last month august 4th and my urine sugars were ++++ and my fastings were 504. I went back to hospital for check up and my fastings are 78 and urine sugars + and I've been finding myself eating wrong diet and sometimes skipping meds die to lack of meds. Can this be dangerous?

78mg/dl is a perfect fasting number, translates to 4.3mmol/L in UK units.
For there to be glucose detected in urine you'd need to be around 180(10) so that doesn't make sense either.
Any chance that 78 is your HbA1c ?

Could you tell is which medications you are on? For someone with good blood sugar number it wouldn't be expected to detect glucose in the urine, however, some medication work my weeing out sugar, so whilst on those drugs glucose will almost very often be detected in the urine, even if blood sugars are good.
