Remember to take meds

Anyone have any suggestions on how to remind me to take my Metformin before food. Currently failing miserable :?

I take mine with my food
So when I put it on a plate I put my meds on there too
Otherwise I also forget lol

I've got an app on my phone called Dosecast which I've set to remind me 4x per day. It's the free version, I haven't felt a need to pay to upgrade it. Alternatively I could just schedule different alarms on my phone. Just an idea, I'm not assuming that every one has a phone these days :?
