Just an idea I has but could some of the salt be removed from peanuts my rinsing them under water then gently dying them in a warm oven on a baking sheet ? I remember you could buy buy them warm going in the cinema when I was a child. Just an idea I had, as I have been using them as a snack and other than the salt they are a good healthy snack in small amounts. Yes there is one you can buy roasted and unsalted but very expensive

Just buy raw peanuts & roast in the oven on about 180c for about 20 - 25 minutes, keep an eye on them and turn a couple of times.

You can use skinned or still in their skin whatever you prefer, you can get bags quite reasonable priced in Holland & Barret.

Then if you want to make your own peanut butter just whizz them in a food processor until they turn into butter.

If you don’t want to salt them when roasting but want to add some different flavours, toss in a bit of chilli powder or garlic powder or onion powder - or all three!
