Restless legs (twitchy foot)

Hi , I was diagnosed with type 2 in March this year and I’m taking metformin, I’ve noticed recently when going to sleep at night I’m getting restless legs or twitchy feet as I call it ….. Is this something I should be concerned about ?…. I’ve tried google with mixed results .

It's just impossible unless you tie them up!
I've been diagnosed for just over three years now, and I have now got use to it!
I was diagnosed at the same time by a neurologist with essential tremor disorder or syndrome. My specialist believed that it was from my anxiety issues I had back then. It is all connected through your nervous system. Have you noticed any new 'symptoms '?
 
No new symptoms , Maybe I’m overthinking my situation but it’s only started happening recently and it makes it really difficult to fall asleep on a night .
