Hi everyone
Haven't been on here in a while. Hope everyone is good.
Thought i'd give everyone (who is interested) an update on whats been happening with my life.
I have just finished the SMILE Trial, which was really interesting and very informative. After doing the trial i decided to stick with the Medtronic Minimed 640g. I have found this little pump device amazing.
In September my HbA1C was 67 it is now down to 57.
Since starting pump therapy i have regained my lost weight (not sure if this is a good thing lol).
Due to my lack of hypo awareness i applied for the cgm. Today i got the phone call from my DSN telling me that i would receive funding for this. I jumped for joy and couldn't stop crying. I will hopefully get this in time for my birthday. I am ssssooooo excited and so pleased with myself.
