Hi bopper.
Write things down as you think of the things you wish to know more about .
Take your list along when you go , it will be seen as being proactive .
Also take a friend or family member along with you as support if you wish.
Ask about both feet and eye screening , as you 'are' entitled to a yearly screening of them both .
You can request a print out of your HbA1c test results or ask your GP to write these down for you.
Any tiredness or other symptoms you may be experiencing , jot them down and do ask about them ...
It is important to tackle the things that bother or affect 'you' .
Do you have a meter and test strips made available to you ?
If not - ask for them ...
It is impossible to just 'guess' yours or anyones BG levels .
Certainly discuss your future careplan of self maintenance of your own diabetes.
As once you leave your GP it can be a lonely journey of handling your diabetes on your own daily .
This is how and why we all help and support each other here.
Any other questions just ask them here, someone will pop along to help you .
Hope this helps.
Anna.
