Rice Vs White bread

I wonder whether there is any major difference in terms of affect towards BS between parboiled rice and white bread sold in the bakeries?
 
The only way you can see how they affect you is to test. Both are usually on the no no list.
 
Yah,I know that both are high in curb. But if these are the main grains to eat for some areas of the globe, what to do?
