Tablets (oral)
Type 2 here on metformin and insulin basal and bolus,
Been on insulin for ni on 2 years, DN suggested carb counting which I've more or less got sussed, had my first appointment with the dietician where we discussed what I was eating etc, I got the impression that I could eat more or less anything breakfast, dinner, tea etc as long as I worked out the carbs in what I was eating and injected novorapid to suit, am I correct in thinking that...?
 
Are you overweight at all? If not, I don't see any reason why you can't eat what you like. It seems like you have the insulin doses sorted.

How did 'they' decide you were T2?

Blood test if I remember correctly, was adout 6 year ago.
