I wouldn’t recommend ignoring ringing in the ears. That is poor advice. The cause of ringing in my ears is acoustic neuroma. Have to have it monitored regularly. Thankfully it has remained small, and I am hoping it will never require treatment. Irony is that I have never been to noisy clubs or concerts. Never listened to loud music, or worked in a particularly noisy environment.
Would suggest getting hearing tested if symptoms of ringing in ears (tinnitus) persists. Can be a symptom of lots of things.
An acoustic neuroma is a type of non-cancerous (benign) brain tumour. Find out about the symptoms, treatments and outlook for this condition.
