Type 2 Rising blood sugars especially first thing

Can anyone help and advise me please I successfully got my blood sugars sugars under control and was able to come off insulin and reduce my meds to 2 40mg Gliclazide and 2 500mg Metformin a day but over the last 3 or 4 months my blood sugar has been slowly rising it was 13 this morning I’m starting to worry

What’s your diet looking like these days? Are you measuring your meals?

Well done, coming of insulin is quite an achievement.
I think that the Guru's here will need to know a little more about you before they can offer any useful advice.
How long have you been diagnosed, what your latest HbA1c was, has your Dr done any tests to rule out type 1 or LADA and most importantly what has your diet been like. Some examples of your meals would be helpful.
