Personally I would say if you're not hungry then don't eat breakfast. Much better to have a slight extended fast until lunch. Just have a cup of tea or coffee..Lol. Thanks for the advice. I was very good today. I have been looking at sugars and carbohydrates etc. So off shopping later for food and roast dinner. No Yorkshires but have decided on a single potato cut in half for me and green veg and a little gravy. No pud for me. Just got to see what i can do for brekkie and lunch as im not a brekkie peraon and if i do its normally a couple of slices of toast so will have a look see. Although i did see a cereal at work that looked good and not too bad on carbohydrates and no added sugar so will see. Must buy some scales too x

No, it's just common sense.
I roast celeriac and swede cut into pieces all with spuds (for non diabetics ) I add a little wine to the meat juices and fast boil to thicken serve with lots of broccoli ,caulli,green beans ,braised celery,kale,spinach and / or any other green veg You can eat lots of veg ,meat without your BG s going too high

With kids in the loop, brown rice might attract a YUK. Basmatti or Patna rice is probably more acceptable for them. In my family, the carbies get usual fare, and I adapt by having my curry with a Lidl High Protein roll with butter instead of rice.Lol. Thanks for the advice. I was very good today.
