Sweet Potato...Raw unprepared......average.21.3g per 100g
Boiled............in salted water..................20.5g
Steamed.........average..........................20.4g
Baked............average..........................27.9g

Don't have a figure for Roasted but as you can see depending on the process the level can go up or slightly down. Using different types of fats for roasting will probably increase the carbs per 100g to above the level of Baked. As to what amount.....I have no idea. :(

Roast sweet potatoes are absolutely gorgeous! :)

Try roasting in extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with some mixed herbs and garlic.

If you read cugila's post above all the info is about carbs per 100gms ! :?

For roasting it will probably be no more than 1-2 gm more than baking ( 27.9). The books do not appear to have the value for roasting, it also depends on what kind of fat/oil you use.
