BBC news are saying Robert Hardy has sadly passed away today, loved him as Siegfried Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small, watched the repeats of All Creatures many a time and they are always as enjoyable as the first time of watching.
 
Sad news. He was in Harry Potter as well.
 
Also Hywell Bennett, remember him in Virgin Soldiers & Percy

He was and very good too by all accounts, watched the first film and fell asleep watching the second (I'd taken the kids to the cinema to watch it after working a night-shift ).

Of course Chris, only remember Hywel in the tv series Shelley.
