Word of warning - Roche are keeping this one quiet not informing DSNs, no announcements on their website etc.
I had problems on Tuesday, another pumper friend had problems yesterday.
They have a shortage of Flexlink cannulas. They have no cannulas in stock. They have limited supplies of links and are now rationing them. There is no available news on why this is or when it will end. Their rep at Burgess Hill was PARTICULARLY obtuse and evasive (when I called to find more out today). They claim to have stock of other cannulas (Flexlink plus & Tenderlink) but (surprise surprise), "Are unable to supply because you have not had training in their use". This sounds like marketing spin for "we haven't got any of them either and we're wetting ourselves with worry".
Be warned. Stock up early. Don't leave it to the last minute. ROCHE HAS LET US DOWN.
The DSN is v upset as she's finding all this out 2nd hand from worried patients and she hasn't been informed either.
