Rybelsus - semaglutide side effectcs

I have ben taking this medication for 3 months, with dosages increased from 3mg, to 7 mg and now 14 mg.
Since the dosage was increased to 14 mg a month ago I have suffered from constant nausea and almost daily vomiting.
I have complained to my GP but they just keep saying take the medication as it is working.
I have asked to reduce the dosage back to 7mg a day but they just keep saying continue with the 14 mg a day..
Has anyone else had this problem?.
Any suggestions?
 
Hi @siamjim can you just confirm you have type 2 diabetes. I take Rybelsus, but only went from the initial dose of 3mg to 7mg, never had to go to the 14mg and luckily get no side effects. How are your blood sugars on 14mg compared to 7mg. I would get another appt with your GP and insist you can’t live with the side effects.
Remember drs are there to advise not dictate.
