Crowds of people, my idea of hell would be a huge gathering of any sort!

Heights, scare me to death!
Liars, cheats. poseurs, any kind of violence, thieves and people who take advantage of others.

The way the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

Global warming, the melting ice caps, whaling..I mean what for?!

Having to give up my eat everything philosophy..and I really really dislike consequences.
My browser has a quote thingy for each day and sometimes they are wonderful. I love this one and am going to take it on board. I open my mouth way too often and out comes the wrong thing. :rolleyes:

Love it! How about never attribute to malice that which may be attributed to human stupidity.
I used to work in an office and someone on e sent me some spoof inspirational posters. They were wonderful.

Probably true, small goals are achievable, it's when i only look at the big picture that I panic!
 
i am a fan of sayings, mainly because they are short and easy to read lol but i like the ones that make me think, then smile, this is my current favourite, albert einstein is credited with saying it....

Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid.

That's brilliant Andy. Yep, if I do what I can do and do it as well as I can I will be a success! Well that explains my particular brand of genius then :joyful:
 
This was said to me today about someone who works for me "Only the truly stupid agree to do something before they understand what it is!"
 
Who said anything about good. There are far more negative sayings/quotes to point out failings to try and help others.

For me, a saying will work depending on what stage of my life I am at. Sometimes I really need sympathy and understanding and other times a swift kick up the bum is the only thing that will work. Just lately, it's the kick thing that I have needed :)
