I guess when the doctor initially said "pre diabetes" he really shouldn't have said anything based on using only a home blood glucose monitor... As it turns out I was worrying for nothing!

as you said, you have some good eating tips, if nothing else, cut back on wheat flour

Is your surgery linked to a system like Systemonline? It's quite useful as you can make appointments, order repeat prescriptions and give permission for them to e-mail you, so they might do that rather than tell you over the phone althought sometimes it's nice to be able to discuss what the results mean with a real person
