I have only been diagnosed for 6 weeks now and have decided to test. My BG levels are normally good - between 4.6 and 5.6, but today my pre-breakfast was 7.8 and 2 hours after 8.1. I really don't understand why they have risen so much. The only change to my diet has been that I have cut out bread, cereals, pasta, pototos and rice completely out of my diet, but surely that's a good thing? So confused and concerned. Any advice would be welcomed x
