Scholl Verruca & Wart Treatment warning

I have type 2 diabetes and have an annoying wart on my foot . I've just bought the well reviewed Scholl Verruca & Wart Treatment, however, reading the label it says to contact my doctor before using if you have diabetes. My most recent HbA1c is 49. Do I really need to consult my doctor before using this on my foot?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Si Mon & welcome to the forum

We can’t give medical advice on the forum I’m afraid, the treatment you’re talking about is very strong and it maybe would be best to speak to someone before using it. Can you speak to your pharmacist maybe? Also as someone with diabetes you can ask for a referral to a podiatrist which maybe a better option than trying to treat it yourself.

Hello @Si Mon and welcome to the forum.

If the wart is on the sole of your foot, it might be tricky to treat yourself. Regardless, you are dabetic. I would seek a medical view about this treatment before use.

Once again, welcome.
