Hi. Can anyone help? About 3 weeks ago we found out that our 4 year old daugter has type 1. We are having lots of problems with her school as they don't relise how serious the illness. They have had 1 hours training and really don't have no idea about it! Yesterday her blood count was 14.2 and they asked should we give her some sweets!!! The day before she was 16 just after lunch and didn't alow her to do PE! We've seen the head teacher lots of times but, it seems she is more worried about the scohools budjet, than to get an extra member of staff in her class to watch her throughout the day!! Has anyone else had problems like this? If so what did you do, we've tried the council!! Any sujestions???? Thanks
