Just purchased one of these of the advice that lve read on here however lm a bit unsure of its reading,do u have to use a control solution first or is it ready to go ?
Any advice gladly recieved

It's ready to go once you have set the date and time and any other settings you want to use. I have never used any control solution.

Or have you amended your diet?
What was the reading you got and what were your previous levels?

The reading l got was 5.5 two hours after lunch
My level on waking this am was 5.5 (when l had the fasting test done was 8.5) on 21 st April
Metformin started 4th may 500mg SR once a day

My readings where 13 before l started meds and have altered my diet,lm still learning what spikes my bloods
Any advice is great fully recieved
I feel so much better now and Hoping to restart my cycling with my club soon but l suppose that will give me another challwnge with my bloods
