sea kelp and diabetes

Having diabetes.
Can anybody tell me if there is anything to stop diabetics taking sea kelp, I used to take it before I was diagnosed with diabetes and would like to do so again, any thoughts would be appreciated folks.
 
Cant see why not. google it to see if there are any contraindications.
 
Thanks for reply dawnmc, I have done a search and it shows no contraindications so I will start taking it again, I will post again in a few months after taking it to see what affect, (if any )it has had. All the best.
