What is the best fresh fish for us, for diabetes and high cholestral ? Someone mentioned smoked fish isn't great?

Oily fish..
I eat salmon and mackeral twice a week with cod or haddock twice a week.

Never felt better!!

I can't see why smoked would be bad if it's actual smoked fish rather than 'smoke flavoured'. Also some smoked fish (eg haddock) can be dyed as well. I buy wild fish so I know it hasn't been fed with GM ingredients or colourants.

I'm in the UK and my preferred smoked salmons are the Inverawe organic from Abel & Cole, Daylesford organic (smoked at Inverawe) from Ocado and Bleiker's organic from Morrisons.
