Second set of results

I went for my first set of blood tests on Monday since diagnosis. Bloods were originally taken 03/02, but I wasn't given the diagnosis until 21st Feb. My FBG was 13.1 and my HbA1c was 129.
Thanks to being able to get results on line, I know that on Monday my FBG was 4.9 and my HbA1c 70, which I'm trying not to tell myself is disappointing as I wasn't LCHFing for the whole three months.
Meeting with DN to look forward to on 5th May. I don't know why they say leave it at least a week for test results when these have come through really quickly.

You have done very well - my start point was 91 and I dropped down 44 by the second test - you have managed more than that, and got your fasting blood glucose really low - mine are still far higher.
I think you can look forward to getting better and ever more normal results - as obviously you are doing what you should to get control.
The delay in getting test results is normally due to the doctors giving themselves time to review them before they are seen by the patient.

Thank you! I do know it's a really good improvement, it was probably a lot to ask to get under 50 from 129! The next one will be even better...
