I have recently added pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to my lunchtime yoghurt, and plan to add chia seeds when I can get some. What is the verdict on linseeds and do they need soaking like chia seeds do. Any others recommended.
I usually use the pre-ground one's in yoghurt - they don't need to be soaked, not sure about whole ones though. Lidl do a couple of mixes in their Alesto range milled linseed, sunflower & pumpkin seeds. They're also good for making LC crackers
We dry and then roast our pumpkin seeds @Outlier .
We first dry them in the air drier , then we add a little olive oil and some salt and bake them in the oven for 20 mins.
Oils have a distinct taste so if you like the taste of linseed then great. I don’t because I used to paint in oil colours, linseed oil and turpentine would be two products I added to my oil colours do I always have that association.
