Self harm and diabetes

For type 1 diabetes patient, it is compulsory to take insulin injections. My husband has type 1 diabetes. He always dealing with his blood sugar levels by taking injections. He makes this as a part of his life and gets habitual. I know this is very difficult to survive with type 1 but there is no other option to deal with this. Else you can do some lifestyle modifications.
