Having seem the headline on the latest Diabetes UK latest email on Semagluptide for weight loss I'd like to hear from others who have been unable to receive their prescription of Semagluptide due to 99% of production going straight to private prescriptions specifically for weight loss. It really angers me because I'm type 2 diabetic and need this treatment to control sugar levels but have only had 1 filled prescription this year. I feel the manufacturers should be held accountable for depriving diabetics of the medicationthey need.

I was on Victoza last year, an injection in the same group of meds as Ozempic. I was unable to get it by New Year so I was switched to semaglutide (Rybelsus) tablets. My weight has continued to drop and my blood sugars are stable. Might be worth an appt. with your GP?
