Sense of smell

My husband is a well controled type 1 recently i have noticed he has a crazy sense of smell he can smell things no one else can he can smell things from across the room that i can't smell in my hands do any of u think this could be a side affect of insulin or am i married to some sort of nose super hero lol :shock::shock::lol::lol::grin::!:

Haha definitely a super nose hero.

I'm a type 1, I consider myself well controlled too, but I have an extremely limited sense of smell. Always have done. And it's certainly not improved since starting insulin in February lol

Hi hale my husband was diagnosed 2yrs ago but all of a sudden can smell every thing must admit it did start when he changed to the pump wandering if its a coincidence or just odd lol:?:
