M3 insulin type 2 diabetes:For a few years i have been injecting insulin into my thigh and my hip joint was very painful and getting worse by time. It got so bad that i could hardly walk 30 yards without stopping with pain. I don't know why but i changed the position of injection back to my stomach, the pain stopped after a few weeks so i checked with my Doctor if the pain was due to the insulin and not with diabetes, he could not answer straight away but advised me they now do a rotation with injecting. Arms, left then right and so forth with the stomach and thighs. I was not aware of this and thought if anybody was experiencing the same symptoms as pain with injecting in the same position if this information would help them.
