I suffer from severe lower leg pains especially when weather is hot. I've tried putting my feet up but that only makes it worse. Does any one have similar troubles?
Here is a link to a site which will give you much information about leg pain, symptoms, causes and possible treatments. Have a read. http://www.drugs.com/enc/leg-pain.html
If you are still concerned afterwards then discuss with your GP.
Hi ya. I get the sam eproblem due to my type 2. I've found a compression bandage worn at bedtime helps a lot. It was suggested by my doctor and has really helped.
A simpler thing than getting a compression bandage put on correctly, is to wear flight socks.
In my own exoerience, ( might not work for anyone else) I find if I have any kind of ache, I get rid of it by exercising it off. For me it's quicker than letting it rest.
I don't get many aches anyway, so I believe that keeping TIGHT control of T2 keeps them away.
I think it would be wise to visit your gp as there is a possibility that your leg pain could be due to peritheral vascular disease, even to only rule it out. People with diabetes are more prone to this but getting blood sugar under control will help.
