Sharing Libra data with health care team

Is your specialist nurse able to review your Libra readings?
Mine isn’t.

We’re both frustrated and confused.

Here in Cornwall diabetes care is managed by Cornwall Health Care Trust, based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske), Truro.
Local surgeries have specialist diabetic nurses who carry out the 6 monthly diabetic checks and discuss progress with patient.

Whilst the health care trust has access to Libra records, they have chosen not to grant access to local nurses.
There is a perceived issue with data protection (GDPR).

My nurse tells me that, if given access, they could view data for all patients in Cornwall, not just those in their allocated surgery.

It seems bizarre that the very person who is delegated to keep an eye on me is unable to see my Libra records.

I wonder what the situation is in other areas of the U.K.?

My hospital team could see my readings when I used Libre. No idea if the surgery could.

I am in Wales and my hospital team can see my Libre results but not my surgery

@Celliwic My surgery wouldn't have a clue what the data means, so thankful they haven't tried to get involved with that!
Surgery nurse should have an email address, so I suppose you could email her a downloaded pdf in advance, if you are happy for more people having a nosey, or just talk a printout, as easier to see it all.

So your DSN hasn’t sent you a email request from an NHS address to access the data on libreview?

I discuss my Libre data with the hospital team as not T2, all linked with the code given on the day I started Libre; the surgery diabetes nurse knows as much about LADA and Libre as 'the guy who works down the chip shop', but as you can download 90 days of data into a PDF via LibreView, then why not send on to the GP/surgery nurse before any appointment?
