Shingles

My son in law has shingles. As a type 2 diabetic on insulin, aged 73, am I at risk if mixing with him and his family. Should I avoid contact or am I ok?

If you haven't had chicken pox or been vaccinated against it you could catch chicken pox from someone with shingles. You can't catch shingles from him though.
