I was in Sainsburys the other evening and thought I'd have a look at the fresh soups. I was amazed to find that Potato and Leek soup has less carbs in it than some of the other varieties. I discovered that the butternut squash soup does have some potatoes in it. But the Chicken doesn't. I don't really understand how the potato soup can be lower???

I haven't included the make of the soup as I wasnt sure if I should.

commercial Soups often have added sugar. Soup is so easy to make and in home made, you control the ingredients

You said it, hanna!

Soup is easy (and, call me sad...) fun to make. VERY theraputic meticulously cutting all that veg into same sized pieces - then blitzing 'em all up into a nice smooth soup!

Nothing beats homemade soup

I have been making some soups. Just wondered what the shop bought ones were like.

My favourite that Ive made has to be the Hungarian mushroom soup I found on here. I have tried leek and cauliflower, not too impressed. Also I made cabbage soup from here, again not bad. I may try a butternut squash one this weekend.
