when i just gone with the flow with gps etc and i dont want him having bloods taken all the time.when his levels are not quite right he feels unwell hes always hungry something isnt sitting right at the same time i dont want to come across as a over protective mother.can any1 point me in a right direction.thanks x

Hi Sally

I note that on 22nd June you said that you were waiting to go back to the gp so I take it that has not happened yet? I know it is frustrating and that when you are waiting and concerned everything seems to take forever but you have set the ball rolling so try not to worry. :)

As a T1 yourself you will understand about BG levels and what puts them up so at least you can make sure that your son eats properly and keeps them down as much as possible - he is more fortunate than many who do not have a clue! 8)

Hope you get that appointment really soon and that he gets all the proper tests done quickly, do let us know how things go.
