I myself go through four dozen eggs every two weeks. I have three egg, cheese and mushroom omelettes for breakfast, and the remainder go for some hard boiled eggs for salads. How many eggs can we eat daily on this low card eating plan , i love them .

I struggled with my weight all my life, at some point I was morbidly obese.I do have a lot of energy , we took our six year old grandson to see the Christmas lights being switched on , on Thursday and i was running around with him and I immediately noticed how energetic i felt and I felt light lol , it is such a great feeling i agree with you . So I am also thrilled single cream is good now I can have that in my coffee instead of milkhappy days !
Have you tried the keto bread and other baked goods yet , they look amazing and i am going to try them , do you bake with with almond or coconut flour if so what is it like. I can't eat yeast so hope they don't use it in the recipes. How many eggs can we eat daily on this low card eating plan , i love them .

keto breads/baking will trigger me. I am sh*t scared my overeating will make a come back all over again.
I am not capable of doing moderation when it comes to breads, or chocolates, keto or not... so I abstain completely.
I yo-yo dieted my entire adult life, I was miserable. The constant dieting failure consumed me and rendered me totally powerless over my weight. I am scared that keto baking could have me back to my old ways.
I know me, I do abstinence better than moderation.
Eggs I love eggs. I have been know to eat 4 at one meal, when I don't have other proteins with the food.
I justify it by "...its only 1.4grams of carbs for the entire 4eggs. or I get a good 25.2grams of good quality protein...or its 19grams of awesome healthy fats which includes omega3....Eggs are awesome, I love them.
Your meals sound good, so yay.I can't get the meters to work I'll have to see if the batteries need changing. I'm back at the doctors in 3 weeks so i will talk to the nurse get her to take a finger test there see how things are going . I've had chicken with butter and garlic plus eggs and a bit of cheese for lunch . I usually know when my sugar is too high as i get a bit blurry , but sometimes my anxiety causes that and now this is happening the anxiety is high . I'm going to walk after tea tonight but not going tea eat the oats and cutting sugar out altogether to get the numbers right down .
Cutting sugar and processed foods out of my diet just has to have an impact . I think I got overly fearful because of the Metformin that was prescribed, it got my mind going around in circles that it must be really bad if the doctor wants me to take that , but got lose the weight and do the low carb diet it will work i know it will .
That's exactly how I am - all or nothing when it comes to carbs. So for me - Keto baking is too risky. I just don't do moderation.I struggled with my weight all my life, at some point I was morbidly obese.

thank you so much .I'm glad numbers are down and not up. It's all good progress.
Just wanted to say - hang in there and you're doing great. Absolutely everyone here started from somewhere and learned and (re)learned what worked and didn't work for them.
The distinction is that exercise testing is vital ... some people get levels both up and down. Mine plummet by 3 mmol after 20 minutes, not dangerously so, but boy, they drop
thank you so much .
Than you so much I'm about to make a thread about the low carb diet as I am confused about some things .Also Charis - hullo! I’ve not got any great insights about T2 to share, I’m not long diagnosed and I don’t understand too much about our condition. I’ve just been doing daily exercise and eating less than 100g of carbs for the last year and it’s got my numbers back in line, but I don’t know if that’s sustainable or if my condition is likely to progress regardless of the actions I take. I do know that I feel a lot better than I have done in years, and that only comes about really by daily practice, so if I had any advice to give anyone it would be - have a little faith in the practices these people have identified, and keep practicing them. All the best!
