As others have said Low carb means a whole lot of things to different people do you know how many you are eating each day?
My FBG took the longest to come down as others have said it may not be the most useful guide.. test before and one and 2 hours after the first mouthful to see how your body is reacting to certain foods. Then you can see if your dietary changes are having the required effect.
Thank u very muchAs others have said, the fasting level on its own is meaningless because too many factors affect it, many of which are outside our control. In my opinion, the best test to see how you are doing generally is immediately before your evening meal. You also need to test before and after meals to see how your own insulin is working.

If your levels remain high, then your diet is most likely the culprit.
Usually under 100 gr of carbs per day, sometimes lower. When you say you are Low carb .. how low do do you go .. also are you still eating low fat foods ?
