Hi all, this is another Fiasp question! Apologies, I know fiasp has been discussed a lot!

I've been using it now for a few months and all was going well however I've started to notice that all my ratios need to be increased. I now pre bolus with fiasp (which had been the major selling point in not having to do that) and I sit steady for about an hour after eating then suddenly start to spike so I end up taking a preemptive correction before it goes above my upper target threshold of 7.8.

I'm seriously considering moving back to apidra/novorapid. Has anyone else found themselves moving away from Fiasp? If so, have you found the move back to previous insulin to be a positive one?

I'm not sure it's all it promised to be for me which is a shame as it had worked really well for me until now :(

That sounds very familiar @Kateyo. Others have expressed similar issues. Would you mind filling in this form with what you've seen? And anyone else who either sees issues, or has been on it long term with none @CarbsRok .

If you'd like to see how others have found it, there's all the data here: http://www.diabettech.com/user-resources/user-experiences-of-fiasp/
Yes absolutely, happy to!

Do you mind me asking whether you reverted back to previous insulin and whether that is working out better for you?

I'm still going on Fiasp although I've had to make numerous adjustments, and I've been massively assisted by the fact that I am using a closed loop. There are still occasions when it doesn't behave though, and those are incredibly frustrating.
