Still fairly new to Diabetes, so forgive me if this is a common query. I'm T2.
Thanks to this website and the people on it (not the NHS advice) I have managed to get my BG down by following a LCHF diet. I do fluctuate, but am rarely over 7 for the most part. However, for the last couple of days I've been sitting at around 8.3 to 8.6, and no lower, and am not sure why. I have not eaten anything different, as I've learned a lot about what I can and can't eat and my daily routine is the same, etc. I have had a head cold for around five days and have eaten about half a packet of sugar free Halls sweets over the last two days. (?)
Does it happen that BG will run higher for a day or two for no apparent reason from time to time, or should I be worried by the sustained change?
