Okay, been T2 a while, went super monk mode at beginning, and got levels under reasonable control. Tested like hell and experimented with diet early on. Avoided almost all cabs like plague and had nothing sweet.
Fast forward 6 months I found my super sensitive non tolerance of sweets/carbs improved and upped their intake, still testing.
Even started to have a few Roses/Quality Street treats occasionally without mess the bs too much.
Gradually without noticing (until now!) I have got to a point where I eat such sweets everyday. Can still generally keep under 8.0 though. Also eating a lot more carbs like occasional pie, chappatis at Indian restaurant.
Question: Should I really be doing this or am I better off knocking it on the head?
Am I abusing my frail pancreas?
