Show Me The Science!

No way can anyone assume that the contents of his stomach is his ‘normal diet’.
So to suggest/claim/imply that a meal while mountaineering means that he ate like that all the time is unfounded.
Sanity at last!

I'm confused - was his diet high fat or was it well balanced?

well didn´t everybody kind of get smoked back then, I guess they must have spent quite a couple of hours around the fire those days inhaling a lot of smoke maybe almost daily
The studies done of the Inuit mummies (cold frozen like Otzi) showed similar results - the atherosclerosis was most present among the women who spent most of their time in shelters breathing oil smoke.

Great discussion people. Just keep ignoring all the evidence of what Oetzi’s usual diet was. And keep pretending that the power of research is directly related to the number of subjects. The mathematical equation which calculates research power must be wrong. And all that great research with subject numbers smaller than in Boo1979’s posts must be unreliable. Keep pretending that calcified arteries are clogged arteries. And keep pretending that your chosen media sources are reliable.

Better to add to a discussion rather than detract from debate.

Welcome to the Millenium way of thinking. You describe my children's behaviour to a T.
