I am only on my third sensor, but with the two that I have removed so far I had to use a lot of force. I my case I had to force the glue to detach between the sensor and the "sticky pad". Only once the sensor was detached could I remove the sticky pad from the skin.
I am planing to go for a SPA treatment this weekend including sauna, hot tub, and floatation in a take with warm salt water. I'll let you know how it works out. Please let me know if you think that is a bad idea from a sensor point of view (not including that I need to keep track of my blood sugar so it does not drop).
I think "shower with fury" is more applicable here @SnapsyI shower once or twice daily, and swim daily, and I've haven't yet had a problem with the adhesive. I've been using the system continuously for over a year, and so far, so stuck!
Shower without worry, @FuryG !

Cool, I didn't know the number was saved in the memory - that's really good to know!which the last sensor you used us saved in the memory)
Last week I got out of the shower and knocked the sensor on the edge of the door and it came completely off. Not sure if it was due to the adhesive being warm from the shower. I got no reply from an email sent to the company, so phoned them and they were very good about sending a replacement.Hello!
Is it okay to take shower with Freestyle Libre sensor?
Will it effect the adhesive leading to make it fall off?
Thanks

I have dived to 10m with my freestyle sensor. I was expecting it to fail afterwards, luckily, it was working very well
Hi there been using the Libre now for a number of months and have been showing bathing etc. No issues at all re falling off in fact quite the opposite I find that the sensor can be fairly difficult to remove at times. sticks very well to me so think there would be no issues but I have always ensured that I do not use soap or shampoo on the sensor.
Mine told me 30 seconds. It seems holding it in place ‘for a little while’ is the common consensus@Mrs HJG I was advised by DNS to hold the applicator in place for 15 seconds after applying the sensor, and then to run my finger round the edges of it to ensure it was well stuck on.
