Simplera Sensor pairing problems

Hi, I've never posted before and I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly but I need some advice I have the Metronic 780g pump and am using the Simplera sensors. I'm having problems with pairing the sensor to the pump i get device not found on more than 1 occasion. I have had the pump replaced 4 times in the past 5 months. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm getting so despondent and frustrated by this issue.

I can’t help with your question as I don’t use a pump but just wanted to say you have done the post absolutely correctly and in the right place.
 
I’ve never particularly had this issue, maybe once.. only things I can think is make sure you unpair your old sensor and put your pump as close as possible to your sensor when it’s trying to search for a new sensor

Thanks for your reply, have done what you suggested many times but sometimes it's OK then the next it won't pair. I have to remove the battery and restart the pump .surely this shouldn't happen as many times as it has.. Was just wondering if anyone else had this issue.
 
I have had this issue once or twice in the past, usually I try it again a couple of times and it connects. Put the pump close to the sensor, hope this works for you.
 
Hi Ann sorry for the late reply thank you for your suggestion. After a long drawn out email thread with Metronic help line who I must say were very helpful, i had a meeting with the rep and she was brilliant. She suggested that we insert a new sensor without unpairing the old one and it worked immediately . So fingers crossed for the next change.
