This is interesting. I have had the Simplera for 1 week and already gone through 3 sensors. They just stop working without notice. So you can wear them on your abdomen? Might try that. Apart from this issue I am totally in love with it.My first 2 failed early but since then they have all been good.. I do now wear on the abdomen
I think most Medtronic sensors have been know for these troubles
I would like to know the procedure you use to re-connect to a simplera sensor?Hello
I've not posted for a while.
I'm now on a Medtronic 780G closed loop system with Simplera sensors.
I am having problems with the sensors failing completely or disconnecting. Re connection can be a long and tedious business. When the system is working it's great, but I'm being woken up by alarms. Re connection and finger pricking to calibrate is tedious.
Anyone else using Simplera and ble to comment?
Thank you.
Disconnect from the app and then go through the connection system. Actually I bin it now and use a new sensor as I get replacements.I would like to know the procedure you use to re-connect to a simplera sensor?
Thanks I will try thisDisconnect from the app and then go through the connection system. Actually I bin it now and use a new sensor as I get replacements.
Does anyone have any suggestions? 2 weeks later, and I still haven't had one sensor which has lasted the whole 7 days. From reading the above, it sounds as though it is worth trying placing the Simplera sensor on the abdomen if one is having problems with sensors expiring before 7 days. Is this the case? I'm on my 7th sensor now in just under a month - all of them have lasted between 3 and 5 days only, even though I carefully choose a site on the underside of my arm which has fat.
