sin bin

beans are not bad! they are a complex carb that is entirely natural as well as high fiber, the sauce is bad not the beans!

anyhow I think im still in the bin from yesterday - youth club tuck shop will be the death of me.
Is it a 24hr rule?

They ARE bad for those of us that follow low carb diets like myself do and Whompa is trying and without using more meds (which I don't want) my meter tells me no way.

apologies, I forget not all of us just shoot up a bit more like me. I do try and follow a moderatly low carb diet though and dont find them too bad. I use the DAFNE teachings as my guidelines and its actually the sauce thats the problem not the beans thats all. I just think people avoid all 'beans' including things like kidney because they are believed to be hoigh sugar when they aren't

No problem  We all do things and manage in our own way...Beans are lovely though, especially with some melted cheese on top! :) I do miss 'em sometimes

Watch out for the NY cheesecake! Because of the high fat content, I have hypo'ed a few times after overestimating the carbs in something so "naughty", its Actually not too high carb (spending on recipe and portion size of course)

Made more jam today. Plum with strawberries, raspberries and blue berries. I limited myself to only one finger lick. - I had to make sure it tasted ok as I make up the recipes as I go along. Feeling virtuous. :)

- feeling the need to point out, - although i do make a lot of jam, I don't actually eat any of it. My dad eats it, and it goes to the neighbours who donate surplus fruit from their gardens and save jam jars. :)

:) we used to pick sloes when we were kids. Mum would make jam. - if she made gin too it was kept well away from us! Don't know if the trees are still there. I'll have to go have a look.

Gotta start on the apples tomorrow.
