Sitagliptin and Constipation

I've been taking Sitagliptin for about a month now, I've been Diabetic type 2 for about 10 years and have been prescribed Byetta etc in the past but nothing has made a difference. I'm also taking modified metformin and inject Novarapid and Levemear.
My levels have gone down slighly with Sitagliptin but I am feeling so off colour because of constipation, I've taken senokot but nothing seems to work. I have suffered from IBS in the past but can usually cope that.

Has anybody else suffered similar side effects with Sitagliptin?
 
I have been taking Sitagliptin for around 3 months now, and my experience is Yes - I go every other day or 3 days.
I most definatly put it down to Sitagliptin.
