So weirdly I have done my set change as usual. Not a new area or anything and nothing different but I keep going hypo. I am eating and BG is not rising at all. It's been 6 hours since my change. Even took 4 glucotabs. The set hurt a little going in but doesn't hurt to bolus and feels fine now. Anyone had a site like this where it's so sensitive to insulin?

Got to work out whether to reduce basal or change site.

May be the heat starting to warm up thats kept you lower today??

Mushy? Is it you that normally goes a tad higher after a set change and bolus's a little bit? Just know of someone else that seems to be a little higher after a set change.

I wondered if it was the heat but suprised it was having that much of an effect! I've eaten loads now without problem BG. Must stop eating!!

Yes it's me that runs higher so I do a little bolus through site (1u) and a temp basal of 150% for 2 hours. This works really well for me and keeps me stable. I now never usually go above 7 after a change. I also don't remove old set until 4 hours after change to stop insulin leaking out and as back up in case new one fails. Hope that helps your friend :)
